ACHA endeavours to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of African civil society organisations (CSOs) by combining the theory and practice emerging from academic researchers, affected populations, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) managers, field staff and other experts. ACHA uses appropriate communications tools to disseminate the results of its research and publications in order to have a genuine impact on policy-making, programme design and implementation at national, regional and international levels. 

Activities

ACHA is currently working on the following initiatives relating to research and dissemination:

• Conducting an analysis into Japanese aid effectiveness in Ethiopia in preparation for the G8 Summit.
